Pre-Conference Workshop: Transforming Your Business - Moving Beyond "Hybrid"

Monday, March 21, 2011 • 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

This half day interactive, hands-on workshop is designed to provide dealer principals and business professionals with how-to methods to move beyond equipment, to managed services with huge revenue potential.  This program will be led by the industry’s leading consultants from Strategy Development and research analysts from InfoTrends who are experts in addressing the needs of the channel.  Each session will focus on the present and next generation strategies, services and technologies (including MNS and MPS) identifying the real growth opportunities.

Below are the sessions where Strategy Development will be providing expertise:

Session Two: Outsourcing & MPS’ Role in Driving Service Solutions

Speaker: Tom Callinan

Xerox acquired ACS, HP acquired EDS, and Dell acquired Perot Systems, all in search of additional services revenue. Discover the importance of shifting your revenue to services and how MPS can play a major role in driving services focused solutions. This session will focus on the current services and how to stay engaged with the customer on an on-going basis in order to drive increased “share of wallet.”

 

Session Three: Next Generation Opportunities in Managed Network Services (MNS)

Speaker: Ed Carroll

This session focuses on the effective use of customer engagement and the vital next generation opportunity in managed network services. A successful MPS program will lead to multiple MNS opportunities. The session will cover what it takes to thoroughly set up a working program, i.e. sales, service and operations.

 

Session Four: This Isn’t Your Father’s Copier Company Any Longer

Speakers: Mike Woodard, Tom Callinan & Ed Carroll

Selling MPS and MNS provides new challenges and opportunities in back office and service operations. This closing session will focus on how to structure your back office and service operations to provide a high level of customer service at the lowest cost to operate. The closing session will focus on how once you have traction in MNS you can evolve into an actionable MS provider who can provide the resources to host applications for customers through partnering arrangements. Moving toward MNS and MS will imply the importance of moving beyond the current “hybrid” focus.
